Man Charged in Cell Phone Theft in Somers Park

SOMERS, N.Y. – A 29-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday afternoon and charged with taking a cell phone from the car of a woman taking a tennis lesson in Reis Park.

As the woman drove away afterward her lesson she realized her phone was missing. She returned to the park and spotted a man with a similar phone, according to New York State Police.
